Rugby, cricket & Gaelic
Rugby and cricket tips follow a different logic from football ones, and the map matters. This section follows the games across the British Isles and notes where the law changes.
Handicaps and margins of victory suit rugby union and league, cricket gets its own match and innings lines, and Gaelic football, hurling and netball round off the set.
England, Scotland and Wales fall under the Gambling Act 2005 and a Gambling Commission licence. Northern Ireland stands outside the Act; a Great Britain licence therefore says nothing about betting there, a caveat that bites hardest with Gaelic games.
